Brighu Lake is a paradise on earth. Commonly known as the "pool of God", the lake attracts large number of visitors every year. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains from all the sides, the lake is situated at an elevation of 4,270 m above sea level with beautiful green grassland around. A per local folklores Rishi Bhrigu, a renowned sage of the Hindus, meditated at this place for a long period of time. It is also believed that many Gods of the Kullu valley took a holy dip in this pious lake, and that is why the lake is considered sacred by the Hindus and many devotees who usually comes in the month of August to take holy dip.
Meals : Breakfast & DinnerMorning time pick up from Manali to SolangNalah in local jeep. Its approximately14.2kms from Manali&takes about 45 mins. From there we will start our trek, it takes 4-5 hours to reach Mori Dugh which is a scenic camp side with green meadow. It’s our base camp. Have delicious lunch.Mori Ra Dug. (5 -6Hrs.) is situated at the elevated place & camp offers a magnificent view of the Dhauladhar Range. Dinner & Overnight stay at Camp.
Meals : Breakfast & DinnerOn the second day, there’s a long trek ahead so we will start early. You will leave after breakfast with your packed lunches and start trek towards the lake as the trail passes green meadows.Even in the summer months of April, May and early June these meadows are snow-covered. Near the lake, the path is through boulders and loose rocks. By mid-June lake is surrounded by lush green grass and flowers which makes it a captivating site. As series of mountain ranges stretch in front of you including Dhauladhar, Pirpanjal, Chandra Bhaga Range and distant Spiti Range. After spending some good time, we will head down to Mori Dug camp. Overnight at mori dug camp site.
Meals : Breakfast & DinnerMorning wake up, have breakfast. Post breakfast start descending towards Solang Nallah. We will have packed lunch on the way. It will take 2-3hrs. to reach at Solang Nallah. From Solang Nallah dropping at Manali.
